I've had 6.09" of rain at my house since Saturday. It is in the 50s this morning. I am ready for some dry and hot weather.

Storm Total since Saturday: (Drum roll please!) 6.36" Not bad for a 5 Day Haul!

It feels amazing out this morning! Made it down to 53.5 for the low earlier this morning.

RAH posted on Facebook they expect a lot of hail reports today. The storms today might be worse for Wake than the ones yesterday.

NAM showing a nasty system Sunday. If I am right, it may be a derecho, as it is showing high winds and is traveling hundreds of miles.
Here is the CAPE while it is still in the plains. Wow.

Tornado watch cancelled for Wake. Had rain and two rumbles of thunder here. The trend of having duds here when under any kind of watch or more than a slight risk of severe storms continues.

You say that as if it's a bad thing..... be thankful.

Good news for the Upper Southeast is that the rain hit the drought hard, but much of South Georgia and Florida is untouched unfortunately.

Well with my getting 5.93" total .. That definitely put a dent in ti... Now if we can just get Lake Lanier up more, it will be great for longer term.. Just hope the weekend round(s) are not too severe.

Did not get a chance to post it yesterday but had nickle size hail here at my office in Louisburg in a cell that developed right over head.... fortunately no dings in the vehicles.

I only managed 69.2 yesterday. Big difference today we hit 81.6!
