Jim Furyk at age 48 is tied for the lead at -14 with Jon Rahm at age 24 at The Players! Also, there are many others within 3.

It ended up that neither won as Rory McIlroy won at -16 though Furyk came close at -15!

They made the very smart decision to start tee offs at 7:30, threesomes, and tee offs simultaneously on 1 & 10 for the first time ever there on a Sunday. Barring a playoff, that should allow it to finish tomorrow.
The impressively steady Molinari is -13 followed by Tiger and Finau at -11.
At -10 is Koepka while Poulter and Simpson are -9. These 6 are in the last 2 threesomes and very likely will include the eventual winner. It will be interesting who’s last hole in regulation is 9 vs 18.

At -13, Tiger wins the Masters, 22 years after winning his first! He was brilliant. Also, Molinari fell apart on the back nine. Koepka, Schauffele, and DJ were tied for 2nd at -12. Four others were tied for 5th at -11. It was a very exciting tourney!

After a terrible early afternoon for golf due to thunderstorms on Fri thus causing a lengthy rain delay, the Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links at Hilton Head was able to get in 3 more hours late. The 2nd round was completed early on Sat and the 3rd round late Sat only a little late on a much nicer day (dry) though it was windy. Sun was near ideal with sunny and breezy. The winner was CT Pan, who came from well behind with a 67 to win his 1st PGA Toru event. Matt Kuchar also had a 67 but was one back. The Sat leader, DJ, had an awful final round and finished 8 strokes back!! The leader at the end of each of the 1st 2 rounds as well as much of the 3rd and part of the 4th, Shane Lowry, ended up tied for 3rd 2 shots back.

I attended a number of these back in the 70s-80s. It has the smallest greens on the tour as well as narrow fairways surrounded by numerous twisting live oaks and tall pines. In addition, it has a very tough last 3 holes often with windy conditions due to the nearby marsh and sound. So, despite not having thick rough and it being a rather short course, it is one of the most challenging and often one of the most exciting non-major tourneys to watch.

The amazing Brooks Koepka is a whopping 7 strokes ahead after 3 rounds of the PGA! He's going for back to back PGAs and an amazing 4th of his last 9 majors! Note that the PGA is being played 3 months earlier than past years.

To show how fast he has risen, he wasn't even mentioned in this thread until this post on page 2:

Brooks wins making it 4 of his last 9, something only a few golfers have done and only one, Tiger, has exceeded!

After round 3, Gary Woodland and Justin Rose are killing the course though they’re not at all out of reach.

Unless you’re a Shane Lowry fan, the British Open was a snoozer. But to his credit, he was amazing in winning so easily! He won by 6.
